The challenge
Baggicase is a crowdfunded startup that designs and produces smartphone protective cases for outdoor sports like cycling. They needed an e-commerce solution that would help users find the right size case for their model of phone.
The solution
A custom designed, multi-lingual, e-commerce solution with a built-in size calculator matching phone models to cases and a full website design refresh. Now users only have to type their brand and model of smartphone to find the case they need.
Size calculator
Baggicase comes in 7 colours and 3 sizes. Users only have to type the brand and model of their phone to find which size they need. We did this by developing a custom plugin.
Custom design
We designed and developed a fully customized, responsive WordPress theme for Baggicase on the renowned Genesis Framework. We used our design process to mockup a prototype of each page, starting with wireframes then moving to full fidelity designs. This allows us to iterate with the customer and refine before committing to code. This means that we can make quick changes with the customer and save time and budget.
Advanced features
To drive international expansion we implemented advanced commerce features such as country-based pricing to display prices and charge in local currencies and Waitlists for customers to sign-up and be notified when products are restocked. We also integrated Google Reviews, Zapier and Facebook Shopping.
